How to use Erlonat 100 MG?

Take Erlonat 100 MG exactly as the doctor has prescribed. Your doctor will decide the dosage and duration.

Take Erlonat 100 MG an hour before meals. You can take with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break it.

If you miss a dose contact your doctor immediately and seek advice.

Side Effects

As with all medications some people experience certain side effects.  Inform your doctor immediately if you have any of the effects below

• loss of weight
• dryness in the eyes
• nausea
• fatigue
• vomiting
• breathing difficulties
• loss of appetite
• abdominal pain
• anemia
• bone pain
• stomatitis
• fever
• heart burn

If you have any of the below mentioned side effects seek medical advice immediately.

• severe diarrhea
• pain in the lower back area
• tightness in the chest
• rash
• chest pain

Interaction

Patients who are undergoing platinum based chemotherapy are not prescribed Erlonat 100 MG. Inform your doctor.

Those who are taking proton pump inhibitors should not take Erlonat 100 MG as well.

Precaution

Erlonat 100 MG is not prescribed to patients who are hypersensitive to any of the substances that are present in it.

Evidence of Erlonat 100 MG interacting with alcohol isn't available therefore, seek advice from your doctor.

Erlonat 100 MG should not be used on pregnant women as it may cause fetal damage. Discuss with your doctor the risks and benefits involved prior to starting your treatment.

Erlonat 100 MG is not recommended for nursing mothers as it may be passed on to the baby. Discuss with your doctor to make a decision either to continue the medication or to continue feeding.

Do not drive or operate machinery unless you feel very well.

Exercise caution when prescribing Erlonat 100 MG to patients with liver disease. A dose adjustment may be required.

Stop smoking and use effective contraceptive methods while you are taking Erlonat 100 MG 100mg treatment.

If you use contact lenses, have eye problems, intolerance to some sugars, Gilbert's syndrome, liver or kidney problems you shouldn't use Erlonat 100 MG.
